This summer at Forest Home Farms, San Ramon’s historic park, there will be tours that include hands-on activities such as washing clothes, making orangeade or lemonade, farm chores and old fashioned games. Another highlight of the tour is the wonderful display of antique tractors. Someone will also be on hand to explain about the San Ramon Sheep Coop on site. Tours are typically scheduled for Saturdays, but other times are available by appointment. The cost is $3.00 per adult but children are free. Tours at Forest Home Farms has picnic tables available so bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty of this historic site.
