to the San Ramon Historic Foundation website. We are a non-profit, volunteer organization committed to the preservation and protection of our historical buildings, structures, and landscapes.
This website describes a variety of programs and events that are operated by the City of San Ramon. Our Historic Foundation has partnered with the city in sponsoring some events and helping to raise funds for the development of the park. Through stewardship, education, and community collaboration and support, we bring new life to these and future historic sites, maintaining their character and ensuring their continued viability. By keeping our past in the present, we share our rich heritage with coming generations, and foster an appreciation for their irreplaceable value.

Jean could not be present at the awards gala but when asked how she felt about the honor bestowed on her, she said, "I am thrilled and honored to be selected as there are many great people in the community. As the city grows as a community, I hope that in some small way I can help continue to make this city a great place to live. I am proud of the Foundation board members and many volunteers that help make Forest Home Farm so successful. I will try very hard to live up to the honor that I have been given.”
Carol Lopez, who also serves on the board for the Foundation, accepted the award for Jean, who was traveling abroad. "Jean is a wonderful lady and San Ramon can be very proud that she represents us so well."
